Citi terrace, Canterbury

Located above one of the side streets leading down towards Canterbury Cathedral, Citi Terrace is set in an open courtyard terrace with heated and covered outside seating, making it an ideal location for cocktails, food, or dancing, whatever the weather. There is a DJ every Friday and Saturday night with a relaxed vibe. We tried their new menu, which is designed to share. Crispy chicken thighs in honey and soy and cauliflower wings with yuzu, ginger glaze, crispy onions, and garlic were our favourites. Choose from tempura vegetables, hand-cut nachos, lamb kofte, king prawns, or sesame beef fillet to share. Their specialty burgers include wagyu beef and a chicken katsu burger. The menu has been designed carefully with a great selection suited to everyone and lighter bites such as hummus and smoked aubergine dips with flatbread. Citi terrace is a great meeting place for lunch with friends or dinner and cocktails in the evening. The location is unique, a hideaway escape for both day and night. 1 Longmarket Court The Terrace, Canterbury CT1 2JS www.cititerrace.co.uk
