The Kent Review Transitions to a Not-for-Profit Publication

The Kent Review is proud to announce its transition to a not-for-profit publication, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the local community and driving social impact. As part of this new chapter, a percentage of profits that are not invested back into the community or the business will be donated to our chosen Kent based charities, to be announced shortly.

This shift reflects The Kent Review’s mission to go beyond traditional journalism and content creation by using its platform to create meaningful change. The magazine will continue to deliver high-quality content while supporting  vital causes that directly impact the Kent community.

“The Kent Review has always been about supporting the local community. Originally founded during lockdown to aid the hospitality industry, it has since evolved into a dynamic publication covering beauty, fashion, fitness, health, travel, and even our KR London section for those visiting the capital,” says Tiffany, Editor of The Kent Review.

“This transition allows us to do more than just publish a community magazine. The Kent Review has always been a non-profit venture, every penny earned is reinvested into growth and impact. Last year, we funded our own stands for better distribution in local farm shops and launched tote bags in support of Oasis, a Kent-based domestic abuse charity. This year, we’re excited to expand our fundraising efforts, ensuring we continue making a real difference in people’s lives.”

As a non-profit publication, The Kent Review also provides businesses with affordable advertising opportunities, ensuring local enterprises can reach their audience without the high costs associated with traditional advertising. By reinvesting all profits, it remains a valuable platform for both community-driven content and accessible marketing solutions.

The Kent Review’s content will maintain its high editorial standards while adopting a more community-focused approach. Supporting The Kent Review means directly supporting the local community, helping important causes thrive, and keeping independent journalism alive.

“Our readers and local businesses are at the heart of everything we do. We are excited to take this next step together and show how The Kent Review can be a force for positive change.”
